Resolved Question: How do I find a local Networking group to join? (will choose best answer)?

I am interested in finding a local networking group to join here in my community and not sure how to go about finding one? I have asked around to my friends and family and the ones that they are in already have someone in there of my profession. I am not looking for an online one to join, but one that meets atleast once a month. Have any ideas of how to find them? I have googled and researched it the best I could, and have found nothing.
